Acino’s World Heart Day campaign
On World Heart Day, which took place on September 29, and for the next year, Acino will help the World Heart Federation raise awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD) as the leading cause of death for patients around the world.
Our colleagues have been very active with dozens of activities and thousands of people reached, and Acino Belarus represented us in the awards.
Acino Belarus carried out a number of events to inform the population and the medical community about cardiovascular risks and prevention methods. Moreover, with their support, four professional domestic medical communities have applied for membership in the World Heart Federation.
“Acino is active in the social and public sphere, joining a number of projects and initiatives aimed to support both patients and the medical community. During the pandemic, it became clear that we were all facing the physical, emotional and economic consequences of the Covid-19 virus. We consider it especially important to support the most vulnerable populations and each other in the fight against cardiovascular diseases. It is a great honor for our team to receive this award as a confirmation of the appreciation of our work for the benefit of society.” Vadim Chupakhin, General Manager Belarus and Caucasus Cluster Head.
