Meet Jasmin Mahler, Quality Manager Third-Party Compliance
Q: Please describe your role within Acino
I am Quality Manager in the Third-Party Compliance team. My daily work involves supplier qualification for raw materials, services and audits. I also oversee audit management, quality reviews and risk assessments.
Q: How do you ensure that these processes run smoothly?
Good organization, communication and teamwork are essential for the processes to run not only smoothly but also efficiently.
Q: What are the challenges you face in your daily work?
A common challenge for everyone in any industry are the tight deadlines, which negatively impact information gathering from the project stakeholders. Here again, having a good organization and good communication minimizes the stress level while ensuring that the deadlines are met.
Another challenge I am facing comes from the current trend of digitalization. Switching to digital processes and implementing new software in the quality department is time-consuming and complex in the short term, but it will certainly bring great benefits for Acino and our customers on the long term.
Q: How do you handle those challenges?
Consulting with experienced colleagues and maintaining proactive communication boosts my creativity and flexibility. In order to navigate and participate in innovation in my line of work, it is important to exchange ideas with experienced people in the field and optimize the communication channels with them. Also, being open minded, creative and flexible helps!
Q: What do you love the most about your job?
I really love working on exciting new tasks. I also love the warm team spirit and the open atmosphere within the department and Acino in general.
Q: What makes you proud?
Knowing that we can make a difference for patients makes me extremely proud.
Q: What do you like the most about your contribution to Acino’s B2B activities?
The quality of Acino’s products is one of our unique selling points. As Quality Manager I have to ensure this remains so, and I genuinely enjoy it.
