Meet Andreas Gysin, Quality Manager in Third Party Compliance
Q: What’s your role at Acino? Can you share some examples of you daily activities?
I work as Quality Manager in Third Party Compliance. My daily work involves supplier qualification for raw materials and service providers. I also maintain Quality views in our SAP system and support Ph.Eur. and CEP updates.
Q: How do you ensure that these processes run smoothly?
A smooth roll out of the processes is certainly ensured by having implemented a good organization, good communication and team work, which subsequently results in efficient processes. Fortunately, this is the norm at Acino.
Q: What are the challenges you face in your daily work and how do you handle them?
Obviously, there are many challenges these days, such as tight deadlines, gathering background information and implementation of digitalization. These types of challenges can be overcome and give an opportunity to grow. In order to solve them I have to liaise with experts and communicate a lot. Being creative and flexible is a must.
Q: What do you love the most about your job?
The first thing that comes to my mind is our team spirit, including the general open atmosphere in the company. Also, I love the tasks for which I am responsible for as a Quality Manager in Third Party Compliance.
Q: What makes you proud of Acino?
We provide high-quality healthcare to patients all over the world and can make a difference for patients. Being in my position I know that I contribute significantly to that.
Q: What do you like the most about your contribution to Acino’s B2B activities?
We often face strict deadlines. By ensuring the quality of the products we produce and deliver, I can contribute to meeting these deadlines. It is very satisfying when everything comes together in the end and the customer is happy.
