The Position
The Role
To oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient, compliant handling, storage, inventory management, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in accordance with GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Your Opportunities
Responsible for overall warehouse functions as a Warehouse Supervisor.
Supervise and ensure receipt, inspection, and reconciliation of all incoming shipments against purchase order.
Preparation of delivery note, packing list and sales invoice as per requirements.
Ensure storage of raw, packaging, finished goods and miscellaneous goods in appropriate storage condition at in-house and leased warehouse facility.
Preparation and periodic review of warehouse SOP’s and to impart training on SOP’s as well as work practices as an outcome of Deviations / CAPA / Improvement points.
Supervision of dispensing, area cleaning and environmental monitoring.
Supervise and ensure issuance and retrieval of materials from production and record keeping.
Co-ordination with CFT for release of RM / PM / SFG / FG.
Monitor and maintain the Stock record of RM / PM / SFG / FG and periodic reconciliation.
Review and ensure handling of rejected, expired, obsolete, non-moving materials and disposal process as per SOP.
Management of warehouse and supervision in dispatch activities.
To manage the regulatory audits and statutory inspections and ensure compliance by implementing the recommendation.
Review and approval of gate passes.
Verification of all the inbound and outbound entries of materials (Logbooks, SAP), as required.
Ensure all activities are performed as per written procedure and in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Ensure safe work practices, availability, and usage of recommended PPE during operations at warehouse.
Ensure good housekeeping practices followed inside the warehouse area.
Ensure personnel hygiene is maintained among the staff working inside warehouse.
Ensuring cleaning and sanitization practices followed as per the defined standard operating procedures in warehouse.
Ensuring qualification, calibration for equipment or instruments is performed in warehouse area.
Preparation and review of SOP’s, protocols, reports, validation documents, qualification.
Initiation and review of change controls, deviations, investigations, quality risk managements, corrective, and preventive actions.
Provide technical inputs for investigations, market complaints and product recalls.
Ensuring closure of Quality documents withing the defined stipulated time or extension with proper justification on need basis.
Impart the on-the-job and SOP training for warehouse personnel as a trainer.
Lead, motivate and inspire the team.
Preparation and monitoring of CAPEX, OPEX, annual budget and PR initiation.
Continuous upgradation of knowledge with respect to cGMP, GDP and updated regulatory guidelines.
Handling of all Warehouse Transactions in SAP and handling of QMS.
Palletization of Finished Goods as per procedure. Tatmeen reporting of dispatch data as per UAE MOHAP requirement.
Propose, lead, and execute improvement ideas to ensure efficiency in work practices.
Responsible for ensuring compliance to EHS policy and its requirements at workplace.
Monitoring and ensuring employees follow proper safety procedures.
Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks; if any, report to EHS in-charge / Head of Manufacturing / Site Head.
Sampling of packing materials, primary packed semi-finished goods (blisters, vials, respules, inhalers, etc.) and imported finished goods and SAP deduction of sampling quantity.
Who You Are
Preferably bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Sciences.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
At least 2 years of proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Strong knowledge of cGMP standards and warehouse compliance requirements, including audit trail management.
Proficient in SAP or any ERP system.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
