The Position
The Role
The position will be based in Kuwait or Qatar and will report directly to the Business Unit Head. The role is responsible for achieving agreed sales/productivity/performance vs. targets and grow market shares for defined products in the assigned territory while creating a safe and motivating environment for her/his team to perform.
Your Opportunities
Evaluate the potential of the assigned territory and develop strategies to realize the potential of the allocated customers to find opportunities for growth.
Understand the competitive landscape and develop strategies to effectively compete in the assigned territory.
Identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers: physicians, pharmacists, hospital staff and purchasing / procurement departments that are critical to drive consumption and IMS.
Regularly forecast your sales objectives at account and product level to ensure required production and supply.
Ensure achievement of sales targets, market share objectives and monitoring of inventory through proper focus on consumption and conduction of appropriate field activities.
Train and manage a team of product specialists to ensure they are knowledgeable about products, territory objectives and can develop and maintain strong relationships with HCPs.
Coach, develop, improve the field force effectiveness by creating a winning mindset and a safe environment for product specialists to perform and achieve their respective objectives.
While executing, be warry of market and team dynamics and able to identify and report changes that need to be implemented to maximize our efficiency and sales results.
Regularly monitor the team performance (in terms of consumption, IMS as well as qualitative metrics such as in-call quality effectiveness) and provide regular feedback.
Conduct monthly individual business catchup with team members and quarterly sales team reviews with all.
Ensure recognition of high-performers and management of low-performers (by giving feedback, supporting and training to improve performance).
Who You Are
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a similar position.
Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hand-on execution and a high work capacity.
Outstanding leadership ability, including ability to motivate employees with different backgrounds and skill levels.
Stakeholders focused; strong networking is preferable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with HCPs and build lasting relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Ethical mindset and commitment to complying with industry regulations and company policies.
