Brand Manager (CHC)

The Position

The Role

The position is based in Dubai, UAE and will report directly to Business Unit Head (CHC). The role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of brand strategies for the CHC portfolio in Gulf, delivering profitable growth and market share expansion. The role demands strong expertise in consumer marketing, local activation, and agile response to market dynamics. The Brand Manager will act as a brand owner, driving performance through data-driven decision-making, customer insight, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Opportunities

  • Own and implement the Brand Plan to drive sales and profitability for assigned CHC products.
  • Ensure successful launches, positioning, and lifecycle management of products in line with the business strategy.
  • Achieve sales targets and EBITDA contribution through effective commercial strategies and disciplined execution.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, competitive activity, and category shifts to adapt brand tactics in real time.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop channel-specific activations and promotions, including pharmacy, modern trade, and e-commerce.
  • Partner with Regulatory and Supply Chain to ensure availability and compliance of products across the Gulf markets.
  • Develop and manage digital, traditional, and in-store campaigns, ensuring localized content that resonates with consumers.
  • Lead agency management, delivering creative briefs, performance tracking, and campaign optimization.
  • Prepare business cases and ROI models to support brand investments and new initiatives.
  • Align with Medical Affairs to ensure accurate and impactful product knowledge dissemination.
  • Drive forecast accuracy, stock availability, and inventory management through S&OP participation.
  • Track and report brand performance metrics, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key local accounts and e-commerce platforms.
  • Work to the highest levels of integrity and compliance, adhering to Standards and Ethics at all times.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum 7 years of sales and marketing experience in CHC, FMCG, or pharmaceutical consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of achieving commercial objectives and managing marketing budgets.
  • Experience in trade marketing and shopper insight activation (preferred).
  • Proven experience in CHC, OTC, or FMCG marketing within the Gulf market.
  • Strong grasp of local data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Nielsen) for insight generation.
  • Skilled in multi-channel marketing including digital activation, trade marketing, and POS activities.
  • Demonstrated success in launching consumer products, driving brand equity and growth.
  • Experience with e-commerce and digital health channels in Gulf.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen and ownership of P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to navigate a fast-evolving CHC environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in product launches, sales force execution, and achieving commercial objectives.
  • Familiar with project management with strong organization skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution, with a focus on results and accountability.
