The Position

The Role

The position is based in Dubai, UAE  and will report directly to IT Head, Acino Pharmaceuticals FZ LLC, UAE. This role will be responsible for providing technical support, managing user administration, maintaining the IT and OT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations across the organization and  build strong internal control within the entity to align with Acino global policy and adherence to the reporting requirements and timeline.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary contact for desktop support issues, logging tickets in the support portal, and following up with outsourced teams to resolve issues.
• Handle user administration and password management for OT and IT systems, including Windows, SAP, and various local/global software.
• Manage IT onboarding and offboarding of employees in collaboration with regional IT support.
  Collaborate closely with the Global IT Team on Active Directory, firewall management, Office 365, and servers (cloud and on-premises).
• Assist with hardware and software procurement processes to ensure timely acquisition of IT resources.
• Perform regular backups, monitor backup operations, and verify data integrity while escalating any failures as needed.
• Ensure endpoint and server security by collaborating with global support to maintain updated antivirus signatures and relevant security policies.
• Conduct audit trails and user access reviews for all OT and IT  systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and coordinate with external support when necessary.
• Maintain various OT and IT-related checklists and records, aiding in the preparation and execution of scheduled activities.
• Assist in the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other IT documentation.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT support and systems administration, preferred in manufacturing plant.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, SAP, and general IT infrastructure management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
