From Dubai, Acino oversees its operations across the region, supporting local markets with high-quality pharmaceutical products and healthcare solutions tailored to their needs. In 2019, following the acquisition of part of Takeda’s primary care portfolio, we strengthened our position in key markets and expanded geographically with new offices in Türkiye and Egypt. Building on our strong foundation in primary care, we have expanded into chronic care and are now moving towards specialty innovation.
Acino is also investing in manufacturing facilities in the region. In 2023, the operations of Pharmax, a UAE-based manufacturer and distributor of high-quality medications, were integrated into our business. By leveraging European and global manufacturing expertise with local knowledge and investment, we aim to scale up expand our geographic reach in the region—not only in the UAE but also through potential export opportunities.
