Acino appoints Samir El Nasharty as Chief Operations Officer
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Samir El Nasharty as Chief Operations Officer and member of Acino’s Executive Committee, effective 1 April 2024. Samir succeeds Mario Ricard, who will retire from the company after 7 years in this role.
Since joining Acino in February 2017, Mario has been a driving force behind many of the company’s achievements, contributing greatly to Acino’s growth and operational efficiency. We thank Mario for his outstanding contributions to the Acino business and culture and wish him a well-deserved retirement.
Samir joined Acino in February 2022. In his role as Global Head of Supply Chain, Samir has demonstrated exceptional expertise and leadership capabilities, streamlining Acino’s Supply Chain organisation in accordance with business goals and strategies.
With nearly 20 years of international experience in the industry, Samir brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success in pharmaceutical supply chain management and operations. We are confident that his skills and strategic insights will add value to Acino.
