H.H. Sheik Hamdan bin Rashid Welcomes Acino Chief Executive Officer Steffen Saltofte in Dubai
Last week, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates, received Acino’s CEO Steffen Saltofte at the Zabeel palace in Dubai.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Abdullah Bin Souqat, Executive Director of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences; Andrew Bird, Acino’s General Manager for Middle East Turkey and Africa; and Ayman ElKadi, Acino’s Commercial and Access Director for Middle East Turkey and Africa.
The parties reviewed prospects for enhancing cooperation between Acino and the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, and explored ways to expand support and help develop the healthcare service as well as to enrich research activities and training in the UAE.
They also discussed the possibility of local manufacturing based in the country by 2020-2021.
