Amoun, part of Arcera, marks World Heart Day 2026.
Promoting prevention, wellbeing, and community impact through awareness, education, and action.

As part of Arcera’s global World Heart Day 2026 initiative, Amoun joined colleagues around the world in promoting this year’s message, “Later Into Today”, encouraging proactive action toward better heart health and wellbeing. Supported by Dr. Mohamed Heshmat, Head of Arcera Egypt, and led by Dr. Hala Ramzy, Head of Medical Affairs – Egypt, the initiative aimed to raise awareness of cardiovascular health, highlight key risk factors, and reinforce the importance of prevention and healthy lifestyle choices. Over two days, employees participated in a series of awareness and wellbeing activities designed to translate knowledge into action. The programme included educational sessions, wellness initiatives, and a blood donation campaign organized in collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent. A key highlight of the event was the participation of Dr. Haitham Badran, Professor of Cardiology at Ain Shams University, who shared valuable insights on cardiovascular health, prevention strategies, and the everyday choices that contribute to long-term wellbeing. Through this initiative, Amoun reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of health, prevention, and community engagement while supporting Arcera’s global efforts to promote heart health awareness worldwide. Together, we turned awareness into action and “Later” into “Today.”
