The Position

The Role

The position is based in Dubai, UAE and will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain, GCC. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end Supply Chain activities, including demand and supply planning, inventory analysis and control, and driving the S&OP process within the market. The role owns the supply order book and source of supply, manages CMO/local site planning and ordering processes, and ensures inventory levels are optimized by effectively balancing supply and demand.

Your Opportunities

  • Coordinate end-to-end demand activities to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels in line with Sales and Marketing strategies.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to develop accurate demand forecasts, incorporating historical data, market intelligence, business assumptions, and inputs from Finance, retailers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Consolidate demand forecasts and ensure timely and accurate updates in SAP.
  • Prepare and monitor key Demand and Supply Planning KPIs, including Sales Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Coverage, Demand vs. Supply Availability, and Factory OTIF, providing insights and driving corrective actions where required.
  • Conduct regular demand analysis, identify deviations from forecast, and develop action plans to continuously improve forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
  • Manage finished goods ordering and order management, ensuring timely order placement with the appropriate source of supply.
  • Monitor backorders and ensure timely review, prioritization, and execution to minimize customer and business impact.
  • Maintain close alignment with Regulatory and other relevant functions to proactively identify and mitigate potential supply disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Supply Team to prioritize supply requirements and implement mitigation plans to minimize supply risks.
  • Lead local Supply Chain activities for new product launches, coordinating with Regional Supply, Regulatory, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure successful and timely product launches.
  • Own inventory planning and optimization, including stock modeling, inventory policies, inventory analysis, and control.
  • Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving stock, and inventory rotation, and drive appropriate actions to optimize stock levels and minimize inventory exposure.
  • Monitor, report, and project own and distributor inventory levels, identifying inventory risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop action plans for at-risk and excess inventory and minimize potential write-offs.
  • Prepare monthly IMS/TMS outlooks and conduct regular supply-demand reconciliation to identify gaps, opportunities, and required actions.
  • Manage supply allocation based on inventory levels, demand requirements, and business priorities.
  • Ensure business processes are established and executed in accordance with current contracts, agreements, and defined ways of working.
  • Monitor partner performance against agreed KPIs, MSAs, and SLAs, and proactively address performance gaps and operational issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth and effective business operations.
  • Provide timely inputs to the Regional S&OP process and ensure accurate market information, risks, and opportunities are reflected in the planning cycle.
  • Drive the Cluster Supply Chain KPI Dashboard, providing regular performance visibility and highlighting key risks, gaps, and opportunities to management.
  • Maintain an effective risk escalation and feedback loop, ensuring timely communication and resolution of critical Supply Chain issues.
  • Contribute to Supply Chain and cross-functional projects, ensuring assigned milestones and deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Supply Chain experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in SAP; SAP expertise is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, reports, and Supply Chain KPIs and translate insights into actions.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively navigate a matrix organization and multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
