The Position
The Role
The position will be based in UAE or KSA and will report directly to the Regional Commercial Director, META. The position is responsible for developing and executing market access strategies across the META region to ensure sustainable patient access to Arcera’s medicines. This role is pivotal in enabling commercial success by shaping external environments, driving access excellence, and aligning pricing, reimbursement, and policy initiatives with Arcera’s growth and innovation agenda.
Your Opportunities
Develop and implement regional market access strategies for current and pipeline products.
Ensure alignment with Arcera’s portfolio strategy, launch plans, and commercial goals.
Drive access readiness and reimbursement pathways for upcoming launches.
Shape pricing strategies and governance in collaboration with Global Market Access and country teams.
Support country teams in P&R submissions, pricing negotiations, and value communication.
Lead regional pricing projects, including reference pricing, tender analysis, and HTA readiness.
Build strong relationships with payers, policy makers, and health authorities across the region.
Influence policy evolution and reimbursement frameworks to support innovation and access.
Represent Arcera in key external forums and associations to shape healthcare access dialogues.
Partner with commercial, medical, regulatory, and government affairs to align on access priorities.
Support access capability development of local teams through training, tools, and best practices.
Contribute to cross-functional business planning and regional strategic initiatives.
Lead the development of regional value dossiers, economic models, and pricing tools.
Utilize real-world evidence and health economics to support access and policy arguments.
Monitor access KPIs and continuously optimize strategies based on market insights.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, or Public Health; Master’s preferred
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in market access or health economics within the pharmaceutical industry
Experience across multiple META markets and therapeutic areas (including primary care and specialty)
Proven track record in securing access and reimbursement for innovative products
Understanding of regional policy, pricing regulations, and healthcare systems
Strong expertise in market access, pricing, and reimbursement frameworks
Deep understanding of health policy, HTA processes, and payer decision-making
Strategic thinking with ability to balance global direction and local execution
Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement
Experience with economic modeling, health outcomes, and value communication
Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies
Collaborative mindset with strong communication and influencing skills
