For our Sites in Aesch/BL and Liesberg/BL are we currently looking for a

Site Engineering Head (w/m) 100%

In this role, you are reporting directly to our Site Head. Your main mission is to ensure, coordinate and organize all engineering activities at both Sites.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and Coach five direct Reports and enable them to fulfil their tasks within their Teams and functional responsibilities
  • Disciplinary and functional management of the whole Engineering Team (30 employee) including budget responsibility and year end processes
  • Responsible for bulk and packaging equipment investments as well as infrastructure facilities including feasibility studies, qualification activities and concept studies
  • Develop and put into action a Site Master Plan
  • Overall responsibility for CAPEX projects including budget and timelines
  • Experience in planning and executing a Site Consolidation

Your profile:

  • Master degree in relevant field such as Chemical or Pharmaceutical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or relevant other qualification gained in a previous role
  • At least 8 years of experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and to lead within a matrix organization
  • Proven and strong negotiation, communication, project management and influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a challenging, demanding and fast changing environment.
  • High resistance to pressure and the capability to handle short timelines and complexity
  • German mother tongue, fluent in English both written and spoken, French as an asset
