Your main responsibilities include:

  • Development, maintaining, improving and sustaining a global planning model for given product families
  • Review inventory controls, rough cut capacity models and routings on a regular basis
  • Proactively work with stakeholders to drive and sustain excellent service performance
  • Take appropriate action within S&OP framework to define an optimized planning/inventory model that satisfies operational scorecard targets, Life Cycle Management (LCM) from launch through end of life
  • Ensure regular communication with the customer groups (internal and external) to keep them updated on latest proposals
  • Develop appropriate KPIs, monitor performance and ensures corrective improvements from root cause analysis to corrective and preventive action plans
  • Use business system to generate reports for internal discussion on delivery performance, inventory levels (both value and turns), freight cost and lead-time, as part of management reports
  • Ensure product availability and high Service Level at competitive cost
  • Support Customer Service team and regional sales organization ensuring proper alignment between demand management and delivery management. Ensure available to promise (ATP) alignment

Your profile:

  • 5 years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, inventory management and ideally also in other areas (e.g. Order Management, Purchasing, SCM reporting) in the pharmaceutical industry
  • In depth knowledge of SAP APO/ECC applications related to planning
  • Strong experience in running production planning processes (MTO, MTS, VMI, …)
  • Experience in implementation of Integrated Business Planning
  • Excellent knowledge of the manufacturing process of pharmaceutical products, with a good sound knowledge of GMP, Regulatory Affairs and Change Management
  • Business proficiency in English is a must; Proficiency in German is a strong advantage
