Global Communications Manager (60%) (f/m/d) – Temporary for 10 months

This position is a maternity leave cover for 10 months as of May 1, 2023.
You can work from home 1 day per week and 2 days from the office (Zurich/Oerlikon).
Reporting to the Global Head of Communication, you will help to shape Acino’s brand image and positively influence the brand reputation internally and externally. Engage and align employees to the Acino growth strategy and facilitate building a #OneAcino culture. Ensure Acino’s vision and strategy as well as key decisions are cascaded effectively throughout the organisation.
Your main responsibilities include:
Internal Communications
• Create, manage and deliver a global editorial plan and content to drive coherent and consistent communications across key corporate channels
• Manage and develop the Acino Virtual Communications Network acting as a sounding and editorial board for all global communication topics
• Serve as a Business Partner, a subject matter expert and a mentor to functional and regional teams, advising on communications best practices and ways to achieve their objectives
• Continue to evolve the company internal communication ecosystem featuring Acino’s employees and teams, their key achievements and best practices to increase engagement and experience sharing
• Support Acino’s strategy anchoring activities by producing targeted content and campaigns (e.g. corporate presentations, videos, interviews, etc.)
• Support design and delivery of the major company events (e.g. global town halls, global Compliance day, disease awareness campaigns, etc.)
• Work closely with the countries and the Basel site to provide counsel and support for key local strategic internal initiatives by delivering tactics, tools and message framework for local use
Digital Communications
• Foster effective digital communications by creating, curating and publishing engaging content and social media campaigns that reach and resonate with our target audiences and build on the Acino brand story
Brand & Reputation
• Help position Acino as a dynamic business with a positive company culture in service of our patients and customers across our target markets
• Ensure a common understanding of the Acino growth strategy, vision, purpose and values
• Reflect a global #OneAcino culture in all communication materials across all channels and ensure compliance with the Acino corporate brand across all functions, regions and communication channels
Your profile:
Competencies
• Act as change agent: breaking down silos and encouraging cross- functional/regional ways of working
• Creative and able to develop engaging content from fact-finding stages to final publishing
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skills
• Proven ability to partner with and influence executive management level and leadership teams

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications or a related field e.g. Journalism, Media / PR, Marketing, etc.
• 5-7 years of experience in a multinational company covering a variety of communication areas (internal, digital, external, brand, etc.)
• Excellent native or close to native writing, editing and proofreading skills in English as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees
• Excellent digital communication skills and experience with digital channels (internal/external) and digital analytics: understanding of digital channels and audience needs, and social media trends
• Proven ability to develop effective, measurable communications strategies and plans from concept through to execution and evaluation across multiple channels for different target audiences
• Excellent written and spoken English – preferably a native speaker
Preferred Requirements
• Experience in Photoshop, InDesign and/or similar applications for small editorial work
• Experience in video production and video editing, and other digital engagement tools
• Experience with Sharepoint based applications (e.g. Intranet)
• Pharmaceutical experience
• Additional language skills e.g. German, etc. are an advantage
