Key Account Manager, Out-Licensing 100% (f/m/d)

For our Out-Licensing Division with focus on Europe, we are currently looking for a Key Account Manager.

In this role, you will report to the Global Business Development Manager and focus on the growth of Out-Licensing business and marketing of new molecules.

Your main responsibilities include:

Key Account Management activities

  • Management of the overall customer relationship including:
    • Responsible for a portfolio of customers and products
    • Active participation on Business Reviews meetings with customers together with other departments
    • Management of the agreements’ prolongation, fixation of new supply prices and addition of new territories
    • Responsible for contract negotiations (Confidentiality Agreements, License and Supply Agreements and Amendments)
    • Handling of Tender quotations in cooperation with the Tender Manager

Reporting

  • Providing support for reporting to the Management (Monthly Business Review, meeting reports, budget etc…)

Projects

  • Coordination of projects: Business risk management, launches, product transfers between the sites

Marketing/Sales

  • Attendance to Out Licensing conferences and congresses

Your profile:

  • Key Account Management experience (min. 5 years) in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Exposure to licensing activities, including all types of agreement
  • Business mind-set & Customer focused
  • Pro-active and communicative
  • Ability to negotiate and stand difficult discussions with customers
  • Organized & structured work approach
  • Team player
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
  • Willingness to travel, mainly in Switzerland and Europe (20%-30%)
