Business Development Manager Contract Manufacturing (f/m) 100%

Zürich, Oerlikon, Switzerland

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Driving and being responsible for Acino’s Contract Manufacturing sales activities with new accounts (calling, mailings, customer visits, etc.)
  • Lead generation, identification and qualification
  • Leading CDA negotiations with potential Contract Manufacturing customers
  • Leading quotation discussions and contract negotiations with new customers
  • Regular customer visits (ca. 20-40% travelling)
  • Visiting trade shows and industry conferences
  • Development of Contract Manufacturing marketing strategy in collaboration with Head of Contract Manufacturing and Marketing Assistant
  • Reporting of sales KPIs in CRM to Head of Contract Manufacturing
  • Supporting RFQ assistant/manager and the RFQ process with market & commercial insights

Your profile:

  • CMO experience (preferably in the field of Oral Solid Dosage forms)
  • Desired: 2-5 years of sales/product manager/BD CMO OSDs experience
  • Well established network in the pharmaceutical industry
  • CRM and related KPI experience
  • Business mind-set
  • Customer focused mentality
  • Hands-on; Sales & can-do attitude
  • Pro-active and communicative
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to lead difficult discussions and negotiations with customers
  • Organized & structured work approach
  • Fluent in English
  • Office 365 skills (on- & off-line Excel, Word, Powerpoint and OneNote experience)
